About
ignition is a powerful spread-sheet application for AmigaOS 3.0 and higher. It should also run fine on MorphOS. Recent versions are only built and tested on AmigaOS 4, though. It's open source and licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3.

ignition 1.0 beta 3 released!
Submitted by axeld on Friday, November, 13 2015
Thanks to Achim Pankalla who has been quite busy porting ignition to AmigaOS 4 in the past months, we can now present you the third beta version of ignition. Many issues have been fixed, so that it should now run quite smoothly on the latest AmigaOS release. However, printing is still in jeopardy, but Achim intends to work on that next.
It's only available for AmigaOS 4 anymore, but the sources in the repository should still build on AmigaOS 3.9.
Website relaunch
Submitted by axeld on Friday, November, 13 2015
As you may have noticed, BerliOS closed its doors a while ago, so I moved ignition to SourceForge (unfortunately, the name "ignition" was already taken, so that it's now called "ignition-amiga" there). That was quite a few months ago already, but now I finally took the time to relaunch a nicer and updated version of the website, too.
gtdrag, pScroller, and pTextEdit added to the repository
Submitted by axeld on Saturday, October, 22 2008
To be able to complete porting ignition to AROS, GCC and whatever else, the sources to the gtdrag library, the pScroller.gadget, and the pTextEdit.gadget are mandatory. While I intended to open source them as well, I completely missed their necessity for seriously hacking on ignition.
They are now part of the repository under libs/, and are all licensed under the MIT license as defined by OSI.
ignition open sourced
Submitted by axeld on Saturday, October, 4 2008
Over the past 12 years, ignition has been developed by me (Axel Dörfler/ pinc Software), and Alexander Bartz, who accompanied me in the first few years, but has left the Amiga a long time ago. Due to limited time, I came to the conclusion that trying to create an open source project around ignition is the best option to ensure its future existence and maintenance. Now, I finally found the time to do so.
I hope that, over time, a few people will find interest in further developing ignition. I plan to stay around, and make sure to answer any questions that pop up, and eventually submit a patch myself.
